This emphatic win at Little Warren consolidated Aberavon Green Stars' position at the top of Division 3 West Central A. Their eight tries included a brace by captain Alwyn Williams at lock that was equalled by centre Chris Leyshon and winger Connor Condon. The other two tries were scored by winger Ben Evans and full back Liam Partridge who also had a field day with six conversions, two from the touch line. His co-kicker and outside half Sean Curran put over two penalties in the first half as part of the 11-0 interval lead.
A feature of the game was the rock solid defence of the entire Green Stars team. Next Saturday they face a stern test away to Vardre RFC which is also a Silver Ball fixture.
